All the disclaimer proves is that you knew your post was ridiculous when you made it.

I mean yeah, the season could be over as soon as Saturday. it's possible. It's also possible the Hawks run the table on the rest of the series and go on to win the Cup. Who knows.

I'll say this, though. If they do lose, we'll have 5+ months to talk about the shortcomings and places that need to be fixed. This place is a bigger ghost town in the summer than it is now. Until then...while you guys are free to be negative if you'd like, I'll remain positive and hopeful that the Hawks turn up the jets tomorrow!

Hard to imagine they wouldn't.

I'd like to sign Filppula, good 2C, good on draws.

Would you take Filppula for Seabrook? Just curious.

Not that Detroit would make that trade, and I probably would not. Detroit's Young D is coming along, especially with Dekeyser. And I've always like Filppula a lot

And the fact that Filppula is currently on the wing is not a knock against his play at center. If you want to split up Datsyuk and Zetterberg Then of course they are both going to play first and second line center respectively. So of course your second line center will move to wing., no matter who it is.

No, I wouldn't trade from our core. Filppula is a UFA, we can just sign him.

First off we only consider that question IF we lose two more games in this round.
Right now it's to keep our focus on winning this game tonight and move forward from there.
Go Hawks !!! War Cry !!! ...

Yeah, we're all trying to be positive. Game 3 was a real kick in the nuts though, got to be better.

Looks like the team is taking it as a real kick in the nuts too.

“We probably had one of our better games of the playoffs tonight, even though we lost,†Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith said.

A Hawk player admitting publicly that their best effort, still didn't measure up to their competition. Do you think the Wings are in his head?!?

“I don’t think it was frustration,†veteran Chicago defenseman Michal Rozsival said. “I think it was just more showing that, you know, we are not going to [just] take everything and we are going to be battling. It wasn’t frustration. It was just more showing that we are there and we are going to be there and we are going to be fighting.â€

Not a comment typically heard from a player on the #1 seed team going up against the #7 seeded team. Typically this is something that you would hear from a player on the #7 seed going up against the #1 seed. Do you think the Wings are in his head?!?

There is simply no denying it, the Wings are most definately in the Blackhawk player's heads at this point, starting from the Captain who cried to the media after the first loss, right on down the bench all the way to the backup tender.

I expect Game 4 to go much the same way as Game 3.

Lets look over PPG over the last 3 play-offs for the Hawks then.

Kane .85
Sharp .76
Bolland .75
Hossa .72
Toews .52

Is that Bolland just behind Sharp and ahead of Hossa and Toews? and Bolland played on the 3rd line most of that time.

But your right he hasn't produced at all in the last 3 years and you used such great facts as, suck it long and hard to back up your well thought out argument.

Do the last two years as we have stated and get back to me. Don't pad it with something fr three flipping years ago!

I can accept going down to the Kings, or Bruins and Pens if we make it to the Finals but a second round loss to the 7th seeded Lidstromless Wings would be pretty hard to stomach.

C'mon Hawks show us your the team we watched destroy the western conference all year.

It's 2013, the 2011 play-offs where, let me get out my calculator, carry the one, divide by pie, 2 years ago.

2012 and 2013. That is two. When you get some time away from the Bolland fan club compute that for me.

If we dont get s borderline #1C for Seabrook there's no way I'd do it. A guy like Krejci or Pavelski and I'd be interested.

this and only this.

I might say yes to a Top8 pick in this years draft and your typical #2 C depending on the player and maybe what else they could add.

Rather trade Leddy than even think about trading Seabrook.

Yeah, I'm not sure I agree with this. Leddy is well on his way to being an elite PMD. If the coaching staff wasn't inept with the PP, Leddy would also be a fantastic QB. Seabrook is really solid, but if the Hawks don't win the Cup and you can get a quality top-four defenseman and a respectable top-six center, pull the trigger. Who will offer that, though? It makes the odds he'll ever get traded very, very low.

DHF had it right. Trading Seabrook is not worth it unless you get back a fantastic 2C on the right side of 30.

That said, it's kind of funny that we're even discussing a Seabrook trade since at the end of last year many had declared him our best and most consistent defenseman.

Just another complete turnaround between last year and this year.

-Fire Q and his buddies (Kompon is disaster)
-Finally dump Bolland (Should send a message to rest of core)
-Get a PP specialist from point who can actually get shot thru on net
-Let youth like Morin/Pirri have there shots

Truth is I doubt all but the Morin/Pirri part happen

But for the love of god please get rid of Bolland

Agree on all points, but I would also seriously consider trading Seabrook for a solid, physical 2nd line center.
