The reason why there isn't much offense is because Bash plays a different defensive system with Howard in the net. The D being below the dots all night negates them being able to make easy breakouts.

That play by Larkin was so unbelievably ridiculous. He had the puck, it's 3 on 3...all you need to do is skate up the ice with the puck. They should watch the replay of that OT on repeat and learn how Philly plays. We gain possession of the puck, and blatantly give it away, that can't happen.

Blash is just playing the system that gives the Wings the best chance to make the playoffs.

It's a pitiful system, but that's the way Blash will continue to operate as long as this roster is devoid of talent.

I still don't understand why that goal got waived off. That puck was going in no matter what. Refs stole that goal from us and the lack of consistent reffing, just as in the NFL is getting out of hand and ridiculous.
