We're just about past the 1/4 mark of he season so there are bound to be at least a few outlier statistics throughout the league that either can't be sustained or can't be explained.

Ill toss out a few:

Michael Frolik leads the Flames in points

Rene Bourque leads the Avs in goals scored

Patrick Eaves leads the Stars in goals

Someone other than Sedins could lead the team in scoring for the first time since.... Naslund?

Horvat was the team leader in scoring.

McDonagh and Girardi as a pair this season - 40.4% CF

McDonagh apart - 56.0% (the tenth highest in the league)

Girardi apart - 36.8% (if there's a lower one on record, I haven't seen it)

We know how it is so I'm not sure if this qualifies as "weird" but I don't think people realize the extent it's gotten to.

It is absolutely straight-jacket-soft-room stark raving BONKERS that Girardi is playing in the NHL.

Dwight King is tied with Carter for 2nd on the team in 5v5 goals at 5, only 1 behind Pearson. King is also 2nd on the team in total 5v5 points, only behind Carter.

Brown and Dowd are tied for the team lead in PP points with 4. Yup, 4.
