He went unclaimed on waivers with league minimum salary just a few weeks ago. Can't imagine there are a lot of teams lining up to give him a 1-way deal unless it's Arizona.

I think he can certainly provide backup level play and who knows maybe he can build off his strong showing this year and provide even more than that.

Good for him. I have some doubts of his game longer term, but he secures some good cash and if it blows up, the Avs can bury. If it works the Avs save about a half mil on average backup cap hit.
