Congrats to Jared Bednar on moving up to 98th all time in coaching wins! Can leap from Rick Tocchet this week

Bring on Vegas, I can't wait to see what these streaking Avs can do against the real class of the West. It's always been a two-team race in this division and I want to see best on best.

Ok we’ve seen that Grubauer is the guy. We’ve added Johansson and now that we’re going into Az let’s acquire Raanta too. Let’s let Grubi play like twice a week max for the rest of the year until he becomes our guy in playoffs.

Winning two against the Yotes virtually locks us into a playoff spot. Furthermore, I'd rather play the Wild, a soft team with no game breaking talent, than a team led by O'Reilly.

I don’t think Vegas will have Pietrangelo, so that’s a huge loss for them. They’re still a great team without him, though. We have to beat the Coyotes in both games.

I mean the Wild do have Kaprizov who’s 100% a game breaker. The issue is he’s the only forward they have that isn’t decidedly average or a great play driver.

That remains to be seen. I watched quite a bit of him in the KHL, he has ways to go to prove he is a game breaker at the NHL level.

I mean he’s been pretty electric so far in the NHL. I’d say he’s so far a game breaker 100%.
Then the two of us have a different understanding of what a game breaker is. He is a top line wing. Game breaker is someone who can dictate the flow of the game, someone who is uncontainable when on, not a sub ppg one dimensional winger. I have seen him go quiet far to many times in the past to consider him that.

Hoping they start Werner tomorrow, and if he plays well enough start him again even while it's b2b. Grubauer deserves some time off before Vegas.

The Avs are now up to 6th in the league in goals per game and 3rd in the league in goals against per game.
Still too high. Hopefully with all our dmen back now we can be the best defensive team in the league.
