No joke, this was the most dominant game the Avs have played since last playoffs game 2 vs Tampa Bay.
The Oilers didn't belong on the same ice as the Avs tonight at even strength. The Avs only undoing was their PK, which as usual was horrendous but to be fair the Oilers make minced meat out of every team's PK.
Just wanna know where the f*** this Avs team has been all season long? How were they able to utterly dominate at 5v5 the way they did in 20-21 and 21-22 tonight?
Bednar basically went to 3 lines after the 1st period. I don't remember seeing Kaut/Meyers/MacDonald get a shift lol. He also sat Newhook down on occasion and had MacKinnon going out with the 2nd line when the top line was resting.
