I’m a degenerate gambler who loves taking advantage of situations where people make decisions based on emotion. So serious question… How many of you “Avs aren’t making the playoffs people” can I take money from in April? Anyone care to make some bets?
Vegas still has them at - 390 to make the playoffs so yeah take the bets.

Today marks an important date on the schedule for the Avs.

Today is our first "Must lose" game of the year. With a loss to the Sens, and Buffalo/Florida/Philly getting wins, we would fall into the bottom 10 and tied with Ottawa and Philly for the 8th overall pick.

So far the tank has been going ok but not great, likely because they weren't fully committed to the plan. Hopefully with Chicago's loss everyone's focus has shifted to what matters most. If they truly work hard and as a team, we can get to the bottom 5 by the trade deadline. From that point, who knows how far they can drop down the stretch, we've seen what this group is capable of back in 2017, they can do it again.
Someone knows what's up

Look at it this way. If Avs fight hard and just miss the playoffs by few points, no one is gonna take them seriously for next year, but if they bottom out, win the lottery and draft Bedard, they're gonna be the envy of the league, and most people are gonna label the Avs as the next dynasty as they will come back next year healthy, with one two punch of MacK and Bedard and win the next 3 cups in a row
