Ohio St. was fortunate to get the W in this one. Their defense came up huge in the red zone though.

These last two weeks have given me a bit more hope that we can best them this year, there are some flaws on defense.

Let's just skip the game and play in the playoffs, k?

The QB is completely overmatched. I think if they have quality QB play they win this game and win in Ann Arbor and are the #2 team in the country right now.

Probably right. They don't have the talent of Michigan or tOSU to overcome average to below average QB play. Good game otherwise, just hate to see it end that way.

What the heck happened to Norte Dame? They shouldn't be 2-5

I know they don't. But he hasn't played well

That's what scouts have to figure out. Is he pressing? How's the situation at N.D.? We know Brian Kelly is a miserable S.O.B. even when they win. Imagine a 3 game losing streak. I think he will stay for another year. A lot depends on Brian Kelly.

Washington State beats UCLA. Now 3-0 in Pac 12 play. Still a lot of football left, but it would be huge if the Apple Cup vs Washington determined the North division champion.

Playoff seems pretty clear at this point right, barring a big upset?

Alabama
Ohio State-Michigan winner
Clemson
Washington

Dark horses being A&M (if they beat Alabama), Nebraska, Baylor (must go undefeated and hope that one of the champs of the other conferences is not).

Going to be another year where the Big <12 wishes they had a championship game. But Clemson will lose a game, they're cutting it way too close.

Washington? Not a lock at all.

Best three teams are Bama, tOSU and Michigan, IMO. 4th spot is anyone's guess.

Don't sleep on West Virginia, seriously.

If NC State had any kind of kicker, Clemson wouldn't even be in the discussion right now. So no, it's not pretty clear.
