This Iowa-Penn State seems a lot like the 6-4 game in 2004. Iowa always seemingly involved with games like this that set football back several decades.

Looked like a very bad video review overturn of a Penn State touchdown against Iowa. Followed by back to back holding calls after 1st and goal at the one foot line resulting in a field goal.

Hope that doesn’t decide the game.

It doesn’t. Penn St is elite.

Does elite mean something different in Pennsylvania than it does in the rest of the world?
It means one conference title and one major bowl win in the last decade. Penn State would be the most undeserving program called a "blue blood" if any other than delusional Paterno nut huggers thought they were a blue blood.

Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio St, Georgia (and they lost to South Carolina at home lmfao) are the only programs that are ahead of Penn St right now. Recruiting, consistent wins, not screwing up against garbage programs. Penn St is simply better than most. About to be #8 in the nation.

Look how many supposed “blue bloods” have fallen on their faces lately. Lmao - USC, Florida St, SEC schools like Auburn, Tennessee, TA&M... Notre Dame and their terrible record against the real big boys.

So there will only be 1 undefeated SEC team at best at the end of the season. I could see all teams having at least one loss honestly. And somehow they will still get 2 teams into the playoffs.

Penn State is Wisconsin tier. Not Clemson/Alabama tier.
Wisconsin sucks and loses to Penn State every time they play. Agree PSU isn’t Clemson/Alabama tier yet but they can get there and they are above Wisconsin.

Penn State wishes it was Wisconsin. At least Wisconsin can make the title game and get some impressive wins.

Penn State flukes our early wins against weak teams and then shuts up as they worked by the mediocre and good teams in their schedule.

Penn State has won 7 of the last 9. Nice try, but I’ll take my team.

Take them all you like doesn’t change the fact they don’t have a clue what elite looks like and that their program is weaker than Wisconsin’s.
