They won't. Oregon hasn't fired a coach since 1976 or something like that. One down year won't get him fired.

It depends what Oregon wanted. Or was expected. If he doesn't live up to that and looks like it won't get better that should be an automatic fire

I don't think one down year is grounds for firing for a coach that is 35-10 and 22-6 in conference. Oregon is a consistently good team with spurts of greatness.

Definitely not. But if things are worse and it doesn't look like it's going to get better? Easy Fire. It's not like Oregon is eastern Michigan and can't get a coach

It will be interesting to see how they play against Washington as well... I can see them being upset about not being in the rankings and pulling a rabbit out of their head against Washington. I hope it doesn't happen because I like Washington but I will be expecting Oregon to give them a very difficult time.

After the Stanford game there was a lot of press about Washington going to the playoff. Most Husky fans were like "Shut up, we still need to beat Oregon!!"
