Today's game was a microcosm of the season so far. McDavid Draisaitl and nuge were pretty good. Everyone else was ok at best.

Shots were 9-6 and score 2-0 Jets when Manning was on the ice.

The defense has been shored up.

Oilers got outshot 15-1 when Nurse was playing 5-on-5.

For the pair the goals were 2-1. Scoring chances were 16-6 and high danger chances were 8-0 all in their favor.

Fire Chiarelli. Move all the OBC from the front office to team ambassadors who never get beyond the concourse. After this season's over, move Hitchcock into a senior advisory role (like Bowman). Hire a GM who is competent, but also required to listen to Hitchcock.
