Bob and Jim didn't usurp Nick & Daryl on the radio for even one game of a 20-game Stanley Cup Run... I don't think Bob & Jim are going to be doing radio anytime soon.

Was this right after they won the cup. Hockey is almost never everywhere

It was about 6 months ago, so yeah probably partially a product of the Cup win.

Nick is (now) better than Bob at play by play. But Bob is an institution. The second I hear Bob's voice, I just think "kings hockey"

It's be a said day when Bob retires, but I don't think there is any question that Nick is the heir apparent

Jim is better than Daryl, but Nick does a great job on PbP.

I love Bob and all and if somehow NBC saw it in their heart to let Bob & Jim do the game that would be great, but it ain't gunna happen and why should it? They don't work for NBC and this is a NATIONALLY TELEVISED EVENT! Not just local.
