There's no more solid proof of game management than both of the Predator's PP's so far.

The Canucks got "too many" PP's, so the refs had to keep things even.

This is just proof that it doesn't matter how disciplined you play, you'll get called for penalties anyway.

Game theory would suggest that it's actually a good thing to make illegal plays to give yourself an advantage, because if it doesn't get called, you could get a scoring chance (or prevent one) and if it does get called, you'll get game management calls later to offset the penalty you took.

Exactly why getting early PP's and not capitalizing sucks alot.
