West Coast Express teams were never that good

Sedins were too young to be good top6 pieces, Cloutier was unreliable and couldn't handle playoff pressure, forward depth was not very good and even Morrison was not really a topC.

The year they really had the chance to go far was 03 when Detroit Dallas and Colorado choked out of the first couple rounds and we ended up losing to Minnesota. That was a missed opportunity as the Sedins were starting to come along and Linden was still effective

Unfortunately the next season 04 it all came crashing down when Bertuzzi took out Moore. A lockout the next season after and the WCE era was basically done as they weren't the same.
