On the flip side we had 7 shots halfway through the 2nd, and that’s with 3 power plays. The odds of losing this game are probably 99 to 1.
They had 3 goals on 13 shots and gave up 90+ shot attempts.
Problem, in the playoffs, is you gotta get a save on a couple of good chances. If you get no real saves in good chances you are gonna lose.
That's what won us the series vs the Blues in 2003.myers with the flu is probably back on friday
but now you have to worry about the flu making its way through the team slowly over the next week
f***
Never forget St. Louis vs Vancouver 2003!Oh f*** off with this post-game though. The Canucks have the flu? That kind of explains some of it. But of course they'd get run through with a stupid virus in the middle of trying to do playoffs.
demko "week-to-week" now whatever that means
I'm impressed. It was over 3000 posts! All this being said, I do think its kinda funny the GDT is 50% SHOOT!! STOP PASSING!! and the other 50% is WHY IS EVERYTHING BEING BLOCKED!! As if the solution to defenses over-committing to shot-blocking isnt passing, lol
Upside is preds will have it by Friday tooOh f*** off with this post-game though. The Canucks have the flu? That kind of explains some of it. But of course they'd get run through with a stupid virus in the middle of trying to do playoffs.
I think they are trying to beat goalie with perfect shots, that’s why they are holding on the puck for that extra second to get that perfect shot in. They just need to accept they just need to keep moving and throw shit on net. You throw 30-40 shots on net and Saros is going to f*** up.
flu virus came in clutch for us that year. Too bad we choked a 3-1 lead to the Wild in the next round.Never forget St. Louis vs Vancouver 2003!
I don't think anyone expects us to win the cup now. But that doesn't matter. All that matters is winning on Friday in Nashville. It's the playoffs. Anything can happen.DeSmith is now 1-5 in his last 6 (with meltdowns in LA and Vegas) and has been .875 in the last 2 months since the Minnesota meltdown
McDavid put up 5 points on LA yesterday. Even if we get past Nashville, the writing is on the wall for this year.
