Man, Anaheim's D line's age boggles my mind. Vatanen at 25 is the oldest, and is still younger than all of Nashville's group. To boot, Fowler is only 24 but has been in the league longer than anyone on Nashville's D line except Subban, even though Subban is 4 years older (both had their first full season in the NHL in '10-'11). Yes, he's been in the league even longer than 29 year old Matt Irwin (for reference's sake Irwin took longer than some to break through for his first full season in '13-'14).

Anaheim's future is hella bright on the back.

Areas of concern for Nashville going into this one:

Power play was useless, is the Ducks PK too good for them.
Inability to convert, lots of shots but few goals, does Gibson have their number.
Was game 1 true reflection or was it just taking advantage of a tired Ducks team.
Rinne's save percentage already going down.

When did the Ducks PK become too good? Sounds like a PK problem imo

The .931 he posted last game is still pretty damn good…

Yeah the Ducks pk is probably too good, they have proven all playoffs it's awesome

Roenick talking about the empty seats. Jones immediately corrected him and brought up the traffic issues.

Wait what?

The Preds powerplay was generally very good. They got tons of chances, but didn't convert. That is different from "useless." Useless would be if they couldn't even get set up to get shots on net.

Gibson had a good game. No one is disputing that. They still got enough goals to win, so...

Rinne had a great game. His save percentage dropped from .951 to .950 :scared:

Are you sure you watched the first game? About the only thing you got right is that the Ducks were tired, and even that didn't really begin to affect them until late in the game. Hell, they had almost two days between games. It's not like it was back-to-backs.

Obviously predators would win against ducks.

But it's a hockey game and those are just team names.

Yeah but you would bet for the snake if you didn't know what the mangoose can do.

And what's good for mangoose is good for mangander.

Go Ducks.

He's right. Ducks dont have a fan base even though they are a good team. Look at the Kings, they have a 213 game sold out streak. The pond routinely gets taken over by the visiting teams fans. JR was also right when he said the fact that the ducks can't attract enough fans to bring electricity to the home team definitely affects the ducks. If the ducks had real fans, they would make it a point to leave early enough, take off work, whatever it takes to make it to their seats by puck drop.
