Lol Knights. Perhaps the biggest pretenders in recent years.

Also big props to the Habs for winning this. I also think it's super cool that they now have a Campbell Trophy too, neat oddity to come out of this year. Are they the only team now that has both an EC and a WC trophy?
Isles and Flyers have done it too! Still a cool anomaly.

Felicitations! I don't think people are going to dare a "Isles/TB going to destroy them" this time. If they win the Cup it will be absolutely insane in Montreal. This is a very likeable Habs team imo. And believe it or not, Bergevin did a good job this isn't just luck or whatever you want to call it.

Like I said a day or so ago, this Habs team reminds me of the 2017 Senators team. But they won while the Senators lost because the 2021 Knights are sure as f*ck not the 2017 Penguins.

Good for the Habs, though. Seeing Price and Weber winning it is nice to see IMO.

What were the odds on, say, start of 2020 that Canadiens will win Western Conference on the next (this) season?
Never thought I’d see Montreal awarded the Clarence Campbell Bowl.

This might push the idea that the final four teams be reseeded by regular season record so that the best teams play for the Cup in the end.

Wait, so 10K people can be outside shoulder to shoulder screaming, celebrating and throwing drinks on one another, but there can't be more than 3,500 inside?

We're being robbed of what would be one of the all-time great playoff atmospheres.
10K? not even close

Totally true.
