G'morning.

Any word on who's in the net for Sweden?

Good morning (although I am seriously considering going to bed again :))

No idea who will be in net, but I am actually pulling for Stefan Liv. Rarely do we see the same goaltender that lost the semifinal in the bronze medal game. It is up to Lundqvist though, since he gets to decide when he wants to play

I haven't slept yet :shakehead

I'd like to see Honken keeping the net, just to get him some experience. Liv is crap, plus he's got experience already.

My bet is 5 or 6 Swedish goals, though.

I wonder which team is more disappointed to be in the bronze medal game? Both countries really wanted to end their gold medal drought. Russia was probably more favored coming into this tournament but the Swedes must have felt that they had an excellent chance of winning the gold after beating Canada.

My prediction is Russia 5-4 in a shootout.

This is the early game and sweden played late last night + half an OT. Russia will win this, 4-1.

Ok now there's nothing to play for, so I can make some objective predictions :

Russia 5, Sweden 2

Team Sweden have played three bronze medal-games since 1999 and won them all, time for a change now or will the streak continue?

I wish the game would be close, but I think that the Russians are going to come out and score a few goals while the Swedes sit back and watch them.

Still hope Lundqvist will have a good game :yo:

6-5 Russia. Only reason it will be close is because Russia will have a poor period just like yesterdays first period
