AHL playoff rules have changed and 23 teams make it. All the Bay Pens have to do is finish top 6 out of 8. Feel like I wasn't really committed to the idea of them as a good/playoff team but being 6th out of 8 seems likely enough if there's no disasters.

He could have opted to go back to the Q as an overager, but chose to go pro instead. He must have a lot of confidence. I’m liking the amount of young depth being signed to AHL contracts. I know the Marlies/Leafs have had recent success with that approach. It helps when you can offer premium dough.

So I was just doodling this morning and have roughly this line-up for WBS:

Legare-Chaput-Poulin
Puustinen-Hallander-Simon
Almeida-Bellerive-Bjorkqvist
DOC-Gruden-Angello
Robert-Drozg

Merisier-Ortiz-Almari
Reilly-Maniscalco
Lee-Bigras
Fedun

Lindberg
D'Orio
Napier

Am I missing anybody?

There's a few forwards Devane (enforcer), Olson (returning depth) along with Boomhower and Houde who will probably be in Wheeling. I'd imagine Riikola is waived at some point and goes unclaimed and plays in WBS or just asks for his contract to be terminated.

Thank you. I was doing this by memory.
