With all of the talk of the Phoenix Coyotes lately, it's easy to forget that we have a whole host of Junior hockey teams in our communities. Let's not lose sight of the great young talent that is in our communities, where so many of them were selected in yesterday's NHL draft.
This season, we would like to bring more attention to the Junior teams around the Pacific NW. We would like to assemble a team of 3-5 special correspondents to cover the 5 US - Division WHL teams, the new Wenatchee Wild team, the Junior Totems, and any other teams that people may be aware of. We are looking for scouting reports, game recaps & highlights, special events in the community, team outreach, pictures, etc. We will post your reports regularly on FB, Twitter @methockeyreport, the new planned resource web site, as well as having you as an on-air guest with the Metropolitan Hockey Report.
If you would like to be considered for our team, please send a PM with your contact information and what team you would like to cover. Training camps will be opening soon, so we are looking to have correspondents in place with in the next couple of weeks.
