Better for them to lose in the AFCC than get embarrassed in another SB. This year they were snakebit -- slow start, super tough schedule, then their O-lIne gets decimated. That they got to the AFCC was kind of flukey. They'll need better luck next year.

You have to think the only reason he would leave Super Bowls and Mahomes for Washington is he knows Ron is in a lame duck season and has his eye on that job. Or maybe he knows about the Sean Payton rumor floating around yesterday.

Given that the new owner is going to almost certainly want his own guy….why would he assume he would slide into RR replacement role?

He should probably go to Dallas. I think there are more attractive options for him than us. We‘ll see. He doesn‘t play call now, so maybe he’s fantastic, maybe not….
