Yeah. Wouldn’t be so bad to give Lundqvist another game off. Pavelic has been very good.

Pavelec cut down on a lot of rebounds compared to earlier this season and whatever still spilled up in front of him yesterday was cleaned up with a vengeance by NYR skaters throughout the game.

It seemed like last night was more about getting their heads out of their a$$es and just doing the right things/working hard. They've left Pavs out to dry his last few starts, and he's been exceptional his last few times out. Benoit Allaire - GOAT

Go to 10 minutes of 4 on 4 and then a tie. Sure you'll see a number of tie games a year but at least everything is earned. 3 on 3 and shootouts bear no resemblance to anything that regularly happens in a game and therefore should not be used to decide the outcome.

Alas the NHL will never go back to 'more boring' but I really wish they would.

I love 3 on 3 overtime. Fans can barely breath from so much fast pace action. We get more scoring chances in 5 minutes than we do in 30 minutes. I like the shootout as well. Ties are like kissing your sister.

I didn't see the game due to blackout but I see that we finally outshot a team! That in itself is a great sign, especially against the Capitals.
