Is anyone else having a hard time refraining from shouting “MCBAIN” every time they say it?

No? Just me? Okay
Oh, I feel ya man!

No, but I'm always repeating "McCloud", a MST 3000 reference, when playing Edmonton, and "Skinner!", a Simpsons reference, when playing Buffalo.

Very odd, below the shoulders so should be good? Unless the deflection off the glass counts as a continuation of the initial shot, so they revert to the crossbar rule

Backstrom couldn't beat an AHLer down the ice.

The top line needs to wake up. Would also be good if Oshie can bounce back. Just one ES goal for him in the last 14 games and it came in the Philly blowout.

I don’t know why they are saying that should be a goal. The rule is pretty clear.

80.3 Disallowed Goal – When an attacking player causes the puck to enter the opponent’s goal by contacting the puck above the height of the crossbar, either directly or deflected off any player or official, the goal shall not be allowed. The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick. If the puck makes contact with the stick at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed.

Seems like the game plan tonight is to practice the high tip play. Snoozefest. They better not force OT
