Bieksa for example seems to have a healthy respect for the Oilers. Certainly, McDavid and Draisaitl. He was even very complementary to Nuge the last Saturday game.

Hrudey was even born in Edmonton, though he now lives in Calgary and played his Junior hockey in The Hat. Maybe he got too much of that Southern Alberta air.

Something clearly happened in Kelly's life for him to have such a dislike for his hometown. Maybe the Oilers turned him down at some point in his career when he was looking for workand he is still pissed about it, who knows.
