The other problem with our PP is you still have to design it around Ovechkin, and for as good a shot as he has (had, at this point?) that's an extremely limiting design flaw to build around. He's even gone on record that it's been difficult to force the team out of old habits, I mean they've been doing the same thing for close to a decade now. Hard to break that in just a few months.

I figured we would see some young player struggles this year (and next few), but I didn’t expect Keumper to be so bad. Even if some goals aren’t his fault, we just don’t play well when he is in net. He doesn’t play well in net. Hard to win when you give up quick goals.

I think he has been hurt… mentally and physically. Been playing well, but he needs to feel a couple of goals to get going.
