</p>Carolina Hurricanes‘ rookie forward Brock McGinn checked off almost all of the boxes in his first NHL game, scoring his first NHL goal on his first shift (he also notched his first assist) as the Hurricanes defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 5-3.
