Man, I know most of the fanbase is most hyped about Hague but Brannstrom is a goddamn treat to watch. That stretch pass as he's repositioning in open ice was so subtle but so pretty. I'm wondering if both Brannstrom and Hague may get a look when the season starts.

Miller with a real rough minute there. Totally let the penalty killers walk him to the net then turned it over with no defensive pressure on him in the offensive zone. Oof.

Duke seems to be getting a good amount of ice time. Looked good on the penalty kill. I wonder if he's got a lane towards our fourth line this year. Would be tough to make it as we have a surplus of forwards but who knows?

Christ dude, Whitecloud is NHL ready. I can say that with confidence. He completely kept MacKinnon from attacking the net. Forced him to pass it off.

The battle between him, Hague, and Brannstrom is very interesting IMO.

Yeah I'd agree with that. He looks NHL capable. At least on the level that Will Carrier is. Maybe not as much of a hitter though.

Whitecloud looks more stable than Miller. I think that's equal parts good for Whitecloud and not so great for Miller. He's been shaky so far.

Reinhart doing nothing to show he's done even a little improving.

Miller looked out of sorts.

Standouts for me were Brannstrom, Whitecloud, and Duke.

Stastny played a solid period but didn't do much that was impressive.

2gp 2 g 2a 4p for Brannstrom in preseason so far.

As I confirmed his stats Tuch had a nice sequence where he basically singlehandedly kept offensive zone possession and pressure. Hope we see more from him this year.
