He has solid [not exceptional, but solid skating w/good speed.
Entire rest of his game is uneven.
AHL not the answer.
He needs tutoring and steady line mates.

It's more that nothing happens with him on the rink. He was injured for a bit. Seems like a nice locker room player. Looks to be working hard. Nothing happens. So when he gets great opportunities and fumbles the puck or misses what seem to be tap-ins, it's very noticeable. The hate he receives might be more on Quinn using him like he's a great option to put on the rink over other players, but a lot of boring nothing happens with him on thr rink.

Sorry to disappoint Vegas fans but a large majority of ranger fans are very excited we never have to see him in our jersey again.

He'll be a project. The VGK seem to be good at getting more out of underperforming players, so we'll cross our fingers.
