Knights are really banged up on the backend right now.

It’s the type of system he fits more than any other.. They don’t ask a whole lot from their bottom pairing especially. Just the basics really. Force everything outside.

For a while, Bjornfot was on our first pairing with Doughty. He can be a good defenseman. His ceiling looks pretty low right now, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he becomes a serviceable top four or even top pairing defenseman, especially now that Vegas picked him up

Every now and then a guy hits waivers that shouldn't. Bjornfot is soft and might never be something, but he shouldn't be hitting waivers yet.

He's not a bad defenseman. He's just very bland. Doesn't do anything to kill the team defensively but doesn't do anything to help the team offensively. Ceiling is a #4 but he never pushed to be more than #6/7. Good rookie year playing next to Doughty but nothing much after.

Right now it's a stupid move by Blake, but if he follows the Fagemo path. We will reclaim him within 2 weeks

The Flames should have grabbed him as they'll probably be trading a lot of their defence (5 pending UFAs) at the TDL. It's a great time to bring in another young player and give him a chance to earn a more permanent spot going forward.
