Kyle Rau, Forward, Eden Prairie- Rau’s high school career had a storybook ending as the Eagles star scored the game-winning goal in the third OT to win the Class 2A Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament on Saturday night. Then on Sunday Rau won the prestigious Mr. Hockey Award, given to Minnesota’s top senior player. Rau showcased his speed and skill during the tournament as he scored five goals and assisted on two others in three games played. The tournament performance should up Rau’s draft stock.
