Cycling is a way to play and great for teams built for it , so are offensive postering games and other strategies are fine as well , so long as each are successful snd true to the skill and roster

Can someone more familiar with Corsi tell me if the Blues last year and Caps had good Corsi? Also if Boston is currently with good Corsi stats? I don't really know what to think about Corsi. During the Randy years we must have been Corsi champions, but we were also a big punching bag.

Corsi is an attempt to measure control of play by proxy, nothing more and nothing less. On the aggregate, players/teams who control play more take more shots.

No stat is particularly good by itself. It's a tool. Corsi, deployment, quality of linemates, quality of competition, shot location, PDO, point production, they all play into contextualizing the game.
