Nobody thinks that. But until a less severe, dominant variant emergences (which omicron might just be - there's not enough info yet), this is the reality so our hospitals don't get overrun.

Really good news about the postponement. It's insane asking teams to play with 1/3 of their team missing to COVID and also as infections are still clearly happening and spreading in the team.
Especially with new infections happening on game day..How many players are in the incubation period..?..It's just asking for both teams to have a Calgary situation on their hands.

Leafs-Canucks game scrubbed tonight, along with the Coyotes-Canucks game set for Sunday....next up in the schedule is San Jose on Tuesday (maybe?)

Too bad....the Canucks were on some kind of roll....but player and spectator safety takes precedence.
