Not sure how this is some great deal? He had no arb rights and could not get offer sheeted by another team. Benning over paid again. Comparable contracts are at least 75k less. Not like Benning signed him to a multi year deal and bought out some some years. Benning can't even nail one when it is served up on a silver platter.

Very few GMs can make you happy if you are criticizing a $75k overpayment.

Great deal, hoping that Dubas can lock in Mikheyev in or around this dollar amount.

Congrats Canucks fans!

I know you hate Benning, but this one was just cheap and baseless.

As a neutral observer this seems like an extremely petty angle to take lol

Not at all everyone was saying how great a deal this is when it is an over pay by 11.76 % when there is a mountain of comparable contracts out there at a lower rate. Over paying players both in term and dollars is how you end up in the cap hell the Canucks are in now. Player had zero leverage. Hell Benning could have let an intern negotiate this and just sign off after its done.

75k is not going to break the bank or create an unmovable contract but it is far from a great deal.

Yeah no. This is a great deal considering who Gaudette compares to. Just ignore what this guy is saying because the only explanation why he's going so far to die on this hill is because he's trolling.

I'd love to see who your comparable are at $875K. Which other Centres do you see that produced .56 PPG at 23YO?

I dislike Benning more then you, (read my posting history of the past 3 weeks) and even I think you're out of your frickin mind right now.

You're talking about 75k - roughly 0.09% of the salary cap - LOL it's the definition of petty and who is "everyone" by the way? I certainly don't remember making any proclamations about anything Adam Gaudette related, and I'm part of everyone, I think.
