Nurse probably should've sat Siakim a bit during the first half and let Stanley Johnson prove himself like Rondae Hollis Jefferson has these past 2 games after being given a shot. Guys are keeping this close but they just looked gassed at this point.

Its hilarious Doc can even pretend to complain about fouls when the refs just refuse to give us anything.

Hasn't been ridiculously bad, but its clear they're not calling anything but the obvious stuff on the clippers.

Winning a championship has made these players much better than they were the minute before they won.

The confidence, the determination, the buy-in to the system.

Win or lose, they are the antithesis to the Leafs.

Strong, resilient, determined, willing to put it all out there to cover up for their lack in God-given skill.

They did their best, kept it close with inexperienced guys getting big minutes and managed to slow down the best player in the world while losing their best defender and on a b2b. Could've really used Ibaka for the Montrezl matchup and rebounding but not much to complain about here otherwise.

Games like these build a lot of character.

Maybe it's just my opinion but Raptors pretty much shut down Kawhi all game.

They killed us on the glass but the positives from this back to back is we helf Kawhi and Lebron to a combined 25 points. Not bad when they are considered the 2 best in the league.

All things considered, 7-3 is a great way to start the season. And now with the backup players showing they can step up, the team can run with 10 players once the regulars return.

If Siakam keeps playing like he has this season, you could make the argument he's just as good as PG-13, Kawhi's new second option.

He's been fantastic but he has some work to do in learning to score outside of favourable matchups and fighting through tight defense. That will come with time though as he's a late bloomer as it is and is still improving drastically, also his first year as the #1 option.
