They are getting worse now, and unless they have a miracle of a summer, chances are they will be a lottery team next season with the Knicks

Part of the Carmelo trade from way back was the Nuggets having the option to swap 2016 1sts with the Knicks

We then acquired the Knicks 2016 1st in the Bargnani trade (looool) and as such will get the lesser of the Denver/New York picks as the Nuggets still have the option from the initial trade.
