I have posted an updated roster for 2009/2010 with listing of free agent before new contract are updated. Please verify your roster along with age and will update the new signing sometime next week. Please post any errors here and I will correct it.

Thanks

this is an enormous amount of work, Hasnain, thanks.

Out of curiosity, how much more work would it be to do a version that reflected the new contracts and extensions already signed?

I don't know if this is the right thread to note some of these things, but for Columbus:

- ADDED: D Mark Giordano signed for two years @ $1,100,000 -- the spreadsheet is only showing 1 year
- ADDED: D Nate Guenin has 1 year remaining on his contract @ $600,000 -- the spreadsheet shows him as a Free Agent

- Dan Fritsche was traded to the NY Islanders (that would be you!)
- Martin Gerber was traded to Anaheim for Nikolai Khabibulin.
- The following players played in Europe last year, and should be moved to my prospects list:
- Mark Smith did not play last year, and can be released without penalty (http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=29302)

The following players have received qualifying offers:

RD Kurtis Foster
HFNHL Current Contract: $1,000,000
HFNHL Offer: 1 year x $1,100,000
NHL Cap: $1,025,000 (http://www.nhlnumbers.com/overview.php?team=MIN&season=0910)

G John Curry
HFNHL Contract: $875,000
HFNHL Offer: 1 year x $960,000
NHL Cap: $500,000 (http://www.nhlnumbers.com/overview.php?team=PIT&season=0910)

L/RW Chris Conner
HFNHL Contract: none (was offered a $450k contract last season but never responded)
HFNHL Offer: 1 year x $450,000
NHL Cap: $500,000 (http://www.nhlnumbers.com/overview.php?team=DAL&season=0910)

Doug,

All the work is done...all I have to now is change a replace Columbus with Islanders on Dan Fritsche and refresh the table. I will also add all the new contracts by next week. I just want to make sure that roster is complete and no one is missing.

I'm not sure how it works with the guys in Europe. Nasreddine, Toivinen, and Vishnevski are all currently on my prospect list because they were in Europe last year. Should they be listed on my roster in this file? Do I need to be signing Toivinen to a new contract? I see he's listed as a RFA right now and I've yet to tender him any offers because I thought guys on the prospect list didn't require contracts.

Everything looks right on Florida except for Geoff Platt being on the roster. He was on my prospects list this year after bolting for Europe. He's going to be a part of my prospect releases too.

Also, just a side note, Jiri Novotny was not offered a QO as an RFA, and is/should be a UFA.

You are right that the guys from last season who were in Europe will continue to have the same remaining contract when they return back. I will update the previous contract of all the players who are returning back and the rest will be going back to the prospect list until next season or you can release them.

All eastern contracts are in...I have also included some western contracts...the rest I am waiting from Mickey to get the information on the contract. For those team that are offering QO, please post your offers here with the same format as contract offer.

Player Name:
HFNHL Current Contract:
HFNHL QO Offer:
NHL Cap:

I have been flooded with emails so it is much easier to read from here. PLease remember June 30th, 2009 is a deadline for all QO and contract offers.

Please remember QO is for only 1 year extension anything more will not be considered as QO but a contract offer.

For the Ducks:

Ryan Pottruff is listed as having a contract extension, which is incorrect. He will become a UFA, as he will not be receiving an RFA qualifying offer.

Tomas Plekanec signed a 2 year extension worth $2.4M/year.

Jason Pominville has received his RFA qualifying offer for 1 year x $1,375,000.

Everyone else is still locked up in negotiations. :)

Dryden, do you mind providing me with the terms of the players you have signed so I can update the file. As I mentioned earlier, many of the western division contract are missing because I haven't got a file from Mickey.
