Except for the EN goal, every goal was scored after a great pass.

TT's great pass to Aho on the back door after Svech bobbled it and then slid it to TT
Necas's 2-1 pass where he held it, moved the puck on the stick a little to get the D and goalie to commit before sliding it over to Noesen.
KK's nifty pass to Burns pinching down.
Noesen winning the battle behind the net and sliding pass back to an open Stepan.

While winning is paramount and a hard working goal counts as much as a skilled goal, as a fan, it's more fun to watch goals like this.
I mean I'm not surprised. We have a bunch of excellent passers on the team. The problem has always been having the people on the other end of those passes willing to shoot rather than looking to make that one extra pass that guarantees a tap-in. That one extra pass undoes so many of our chances when the right call should just be to shoot the f'n thing.

cardiac canes is the tabloids of Hurricanes sports reporting. Its painfully bad yet people still cant help but read it while waiting through a mundane task.
I can honestly say I avoid reading it. I've seen their tweets, and they're bad enough to make me not want to ever visit that site.

Alright there Bobby Deniro in “A Bronx Tale”

“But Dad! the workin’ man’s a suckah”
We loved those seats, though. They were directly behind the goal where the canes shoot twice, we had a great view of the whole ice, and because they were moving folks down to the lower bowl, there was nobody around us at all, which made them even better.

Remember the year Dundon took over and told fans to come down from the upper level to the lower level? That was 2016/17 so winning has certainly changed things.
That was the season I took this photo a few minutes before puck drop and I was sure the team was going to be moved. Amazing what has happened since then!

This thread, TL;DR--but has any mention been made of the Sabres moving to Quebec or Houston? Heck, their owner can't even afford to buy shells for their pants--and we think Dundon is cheap....

I thought it was more of a little brother coming to tell big brother that mom said it was time to go. He came out looked at Burns then starred around until he was done. hurry up gosh, mom says its time to go.
Lol yup he came out and then obviously had to play it off like he was there for anything but getting Burns. The awkward look up to the rafters was like anyone at work being caught in the background of a ZOOM call

I actually go to the Devils board to see what they are saying whenever we win. A lot of delusional clowns over there. We're still 5 seasons into lucking out while they're the greatest team in decades after half a season.
Me too! That’s my favorite thing to do after a win. And they’re convinced we’re some “veteran team thats window is closing”. They are going to be disappointed in 5 years when we are still competitive.

That's what I thought, but at the end, you could see he was looking for someone who finally came down the steps to meet him. It was awkward until that guy came down the steps though.

Burns talking about getting kicked in the junk on the TNT postgame

Buddy, it's the ding ding in this organization. Rookie move.

He also just clowned Biz to end the interview. What a character.

When Burns said that he meant it as a positive. Maybe getting kicked in the ding ding is bad but getting kicked in the junk is good?

Yeah, there's not a bad seat in the house. I was there that night. Was in the lower bowl but moved down to the glass.

Honestly it's just that one guy, Bleedred.

Not entirely surprised, I've noticed him in my replies on the main boards often when it comes to anything Canes related. We must have ruined his childhood in 2002, 2006, and 2009 with the hate he has for us... lol

When it comes to sports, some people are just relentlessly and aggressively negative for whatever reason. If it makes you feel any better, he's like that toward pretty much every team and a bunch of specific players.

Not too long ago seems like I read on here that this Canes team was so flawed it might not even make the playoffs and if it did they'd just be cannon fodder for the rest of the East. But I'm sure that couldn't have been the case, just must be my memory going bad. :sarcasm:
Because you remembered this bit of hooey does not necessarily mean your memory isn't going bad just the same. :wally:

I don’t mind his posts. He is hard on goalies, but all goalies, but I really like his goals against thread. I read it regularly.

Will this new search engine have any user tracking that the site might rank? Like a list of most searches or something?

Asking for a few of my closest friends…
