With PFL note that the card that they are promoting as the main card with OAM/Burgos is taking place BEFORE what should be the prelims headlined by Sy, not sure why the main card is first with this one

I really like Allen and he's from the same region as me! But I still think Max is the second best fighter in this division and will win this fight fairly comfortably.

Looks like a solid fight card. Probably be better than the PPV that Vancouver is getting. Yeah, I'm still bitter!

edit. OMG Clay Guida is still fighting lol

4pm is the best TV time for ESPN with NBA playoffs later.

Friday 1pm prelims in Vegas will get an awful live turnout, better off running them later at 7pm. At least some people will stick around and get drunk.

As for UFC - that's how a live Fight Night card should look. Great main event and action fighters all over.

Former ACA champ Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov was supposed to be on the PFL card, guess he's hurt, was looking forward to seeing how he'd do here so I hope he's ready for the next round. Madge was also supposed to be on the card, moving to WW.

Really decent looking fight night card here. Fun fights everywhere. Interested to see how Boeser looks at 205. His hands were lightening quick there for a few fights at HW before he fell off.

Munhoz has only fought tough competition in the last 4 years and it doesn't look to be getting much easier vs Gutierrez. At 36 and being 1-4-1 since 2019, I wonder if we might be coming to the end for him if he's not able to turn it around soon.

Yeah, fun Fight Night card even if the fights aren't all that relevant outside of the main event.

Luke Thomas was saying before the Jones-Gane fight that no matter the result, it would be like "Right, of course. The signs were so obvious." I kind of feel like that with this Max fight.

If he wins, "Right, of course. He's one of the best FW of all time and is still only 31. He just happened to get beat a few times by Volk who probably is the best FW of all time."

If he loses, "Right, of course. He's only 31, but he's been doing it a long time, has been in some wars, and has been trending down for a couple of fights."

Honestly I think Arnold Allen pulls it off. He was looking like a world beater for a round against Kattar before Kattar’s leg detonated. Seemed incredibly fast. I think he does a lot of things Volk does well too- very well rounded, mixes it up, and is very athletic.

Gutierrez over Munhoz and Billy Q over Barboza too. I think it’s a changing-of-the-guard kind of card

Leal/Magomedkerimov/Collard/Goltsov parlay

Burgos ML. He’ll buck the trend of UFC guys coming in and losing

Nishikawa is tougher than a $2 steak

I have Collard up 20-18 but his legs are chewed up. 3rd will be interesting

Collard is too gritty and wily to throw a 20 YO in there against but boy did Nishikawa hold his own. Kids got a bright future

He looked like a featherweight in there compared to Collard
Was the definition of man vs boy, Collard was bullying him at times. But the boy showed he’s got durability and heart- he showed some slickness off his back. Good leg kicks. He’s gonna do well for himself in this sport
