Cacares needed to come in round 4 and build off that good round 3. More close in pressure, close the distance, but he didn't take control and let Rodriguez regain the momentum.

Agreed, I thought he had an opportunity to take over the fight and instead didn't continue what he had done in the third round.

Good performance by Rodriguez. He slowed down as the fight went on but I still love his style. I'm hoping that one judge just confused the two fighters because there's no way Caceres won that fight. I had it 49-46 for Rodriguez.

The Swanson/Kawajiri fight was pretty good as well.

The main card overall wasn't good.

Finally got the chance to watch the Rodriguez fight. Insane he can keep that style of fighting for 5 rounds at elevation. Should not be possible. That's elite athleticism.

Between him and Northcutt, i think Rodriguez got the better ceiling and better chance to reach his full potential.
