UFC card obviously has no main event but some names sprinkled all over. Bellator with a great main card and nothing on the prelims.

Timing works out well to watch UFC/Bellator. If you consider the entire UFC card the prelims & Bellator the main card you've got a pretty solid fight night.

Nickal looks like the has the skill set to beat ranked fighters right now. Maybe an overreaction but I don't care.

I think he would probably be favored over a handful of top 15 guys already. Like, Darren Till is ranked 9th. Chris Curtis is ranked 15th. I think Bo is favored and probably wins both.

Problem with Bo is that we haven't seen enough of him. He's obviously on a different level than what he got tonight but I'd like to at least see a couple rounds so I can get excited about him. Can you chill a little next time Bo?

Funny you mention Curtis....

I think he's correct in what he's saying.

Also - I don't want him to be fighting ranked guys anytime soon, they need to really take it slow with matchups. There's really no rush - they can put him on ESPN main cards fighting anyone. He'll get to the "Chris Curtis" level in 3-5 fights.

Bo is 26, they definitely don't have to rush him into anything. Give him 4 fights over 2 years to develop his hands, comfort level in the octagon, and just general experience before he even sniffs anyone ranked. Low and slow for a guy this young with a lot of time left in the sport.

Should we be talking about him winning a title in 2023? No, obviously not. Should we be talking about him like he's a very high level prospect breaking into the scene? Yup. So shut up Chris Curtis.

Possibly brings some truth to the VR rumor mentioned earlier if this is for some Meta stuff. The VR sports experience has endless potential but has a very, very long way to go. The company that eventually gets that right would have an actual gold mine on their hands.

If there was ever a fighter to get people to plunk down money for a virtual reality version of, it's Dern.
