Agree with DC. Blaydes is in a weird spot even after the big win because that division is stuck right now. DC and the winner of Ngannou/Rozenstruik are probably ahead of him for a title shot.

For sure, he's in a Gaethje-ish situation.

Good win for Blaydes, but still kind of disappointing from JDS. That's 2 in a row where it was like "what are you doing?" I get it, you want to stop the takedowns, but this is HW. Anybody and everybody has the power to put you out with one punch.

RDA's gotta figure out how to stuff some takedowns.

I think it's fairly obvious that steroids played a large role in Dos Santos' success when he first joined the UFC

Dos Santos has never been the same after he was laminated 2 fights by Cain !
He really received some heavy punishment their !
i believe that he never truly recovered.

He was better lately ... but nothing spectacular.

Yeah he’s fought the best of the best for a decade and taken a lot of punishment, when you hear hooves you gotta think horses over zebras

Or maybe it was a decade ago and he's been through some wars since then?

That wouldn't explain why his body isn't nearly as shredded as it once was

JDS was totally on steroids. Look at guys like Sage and Costa. Way too ripped and popped multiple times by USADA.

Again, not saying costa did or didn’t use steroids but he got popped by USADA for an illegal IV

Derrick Lewis talking about his upcoming bout with dos Santos:

"He's not on the juice no more"

Starts around the 30 second mark
