Can’t really fault Edwards for not getting the finish. Some of those clean lefts he handed might put a lot of guys down or at least hurt them but Nate would just stagger a bit and keep going.

Didn't look like Edwards had much intention of pushing the pace and going for a finish to me. He basically just wanted to counter attack the entire fight, that's why Nate kept ******* with him. If Nate had just stood against the fence nothing would have happened.

He caught Nate hard a couple times in the last round. I guess I just don't know what you're accomplishing with leg kicks at that point.

Especially in a five round fight giving up on the leg kicks made no sense.

I wonder if he wanted to let it go 5 rounds for a potential FOTN bonus? Not that he needs the money

But he threw almost no leg kicks during the last 3 rounds.

Maybe his leg was potentially compromised from that attempted leg lock
