Considering the Celtic tie is pretty much over, I would love to see a group with Monaco, Dortmund, Liverpool, and Celtic. All four teams wanting to play attacking football, would be guaranteed entertainment.

Nice lost to Troyes. At home too. They're bad, and have been bad since the season started.

Lyon beat Roma last year. Lyon finished 4th in L1, Roma 2nd in Italy.

Well yeah, I mean I think it's pretty much a consensus that they're the 5th best but why would this game show that? Which league would be 5th ahead of them?

Monaco had a dream run last season, but PSG is the only real European threat they'll have. The other top 4 leagues are stronger and have better depth but PSG could win the CL this season (maybe) so we'll see.

It's like the 6th or 7th team in France against the first or second best in Italy so no surprises there. Also the first game Nice gave Napoli the pleasure of playing 11 v. 9.

The Europa League this year probably won't be as strong as last year so it wouldn't surprise me if Marseille and Lyon had a good go of it.

Hapoel Beer Sheva have been poor this match, not a single shot on target, but Maribor need to finish their chances because one goal for HBS will be enough

This Maribor team will be slaughtered in the CL regardless, much poorer team than the ones from a few years back which made the R32 in the EL and took some points in the CL

In current form, Nice isn't top half. They were schooled by promoted side Troyes in the second game. Were dominated by St Etienne in the first. Got a somewhat lucky win against Guingamp (who are second half team) at home.
