100% penalty on Sterling. What's more the ref had a great view of it. Sterling perhaps making a bit of it, but it shouldn't matter as it was clear as day. Seeing Messi's goal I just wonder how much it would matter. Too early to say, but that Messi goal and some of the other counters have been really good from Barça.

Umiti making a couple of nice defensive plays since the penalty drama. Digne getting beaten by Sterling pretty easily and Digne should be on a yellow. Neymar looking good on the breaks.

Well that goal came from nowhere. City were literally pegged back in their defensive third for how long and then score from a sloppy play.

Not when you consider Fernandinho caught him as well.

Barça letting City back into the match is frustrating considering how they were dominating.

Fernandinho also got the player very clearly. So while to us watching the play it was very obviously not a penalty, to the player getting caught from the side/behind while he's go full steam it's not so obvious.

So, the player didn't know Fernandinho got the ball? Doubt it.

City can't be losing the ball cheaply because on the balance they're bound to concede again on the counter. Their opponents hardly look like a brick wall either, so should be a good half of football.

Very possibly, yes. Sitting at home watching a slow motion replay on a play like that is very different than experiencing it at speed in real time.

Gomes... Once again giving away the match. And how was Turan not fouled with multiple pushes from behind?
