USA - Cole and Shattenkirk
Cole and Shattenkirk are straight up good players.
Cole, who is 6'2"225, build like a brickhouse, quick thinking, quick passer, head is always up swiveling. Only problem I see is tghat he does not shoot enough. Had two goal against Germany two days ago. Blue Line states he is perhaps rated 15/16. No clue why he was not invited to the combine. But that is up to Central Scouting. Politics. Cole has done and performed above what every one thought he was able to.
Rolston is way to much into Shattenkirk - don't get me wrong, he is a great player. But Rolston put up Shattenkirk is all positions. Power plays, penalty killings - to a point where he is playing he worn down and stills playing - even when it not benefitial to the team. But as a good player does, he does what he is told. No love lose her on Rolson.
Loyality means nothing to Rolston. Look at the people he left home for U18 and people he brought. People that he brought are not performing that well. Rumor is that Rolston had no faith in the U18 prior to leaving for U18. Who's fault is that - he is the mentor and the coach, or at least the coach.
Shattenkirk will go in the mid to late 1st round, Cole should also, but perhaps in early second.
Thank you!
How has Ian Cole and Kevin Shattenkirk looked?
Ian Cole is a good bet to go in the 2nd round. He's a solid prospect.
