three u-17 mens teams and the National Womens team. Nov 26-Dec1

Should be interesting. Ritchie should dominate....I would expect all the Canadian OHL first rounders will be there: Ritchie, Allen, Miedema, Soto, Lardis, Bertucci, Barlow, Misa, Outwater, Barlas, Macdonnell, Pharand, McNamara, Barkey, Rehkopf, Cloutier, Akey

Terrance was named to the US team too. I expect the women will get killed if it's semi-competetive, but we'll see how it goes. Having the women play is interesting enough that I'll make a point to watch it.

There is no US team at this event. Its 3 Canada U-17 rosters (Red, White and Black) similar what they usually send to the U-17s.

Im thinking the womans team will not be having a good time
I mean, it’s not the American National Women’s team but I was thinking they should at the least be competitive. They play together a ton, have played in BIG time games and the intensity and physicality of every USA-Canada game is about as rough as what the OHL is anymore.

Terrance is on the rosters. LDN left him out but he’s a dual citizen and will play for Canada here

They notoriously play midget AAA teams. You can google it and there is quite a bit of coverage on the topic. Even this year, preparing for the Olympics, they are set to play multiple midget AAA programs.

Very surprised Windsor Spitfire dman drafted 20th overall Bronson Ride was not selected for this tourney
Aside from playing very well in 9 games he has 0 goals,4 assists and is a +2.
Should be noted he was -4 in game 1 with Windsor, his next 8 games a +6
Also he has more points then Akey,Bertucci, Danieault,Bonk and Savard combined.
Bonk is playing JR B not the O and while he is playing well, think it helps to have the last name of a former NHL player Radek Bonk.
Bonk is the only JR B man selected.
Figured Spits property dman Tanner Winegard playing with La Salle's Vipers 13GP,2G,5A,7Pts would get a look
Guess an 11th rd pick would be overlooked (Winegard) compared to Bonk(2nd Rd) unfortunate.

25 & 26 picks, one of whom the knights traded up with the colts for playing jr shows just how deep the knights are.

Yes, I know. I was quoting a poster who said he made team USA.

Yeah, that's my mistake. I saw from Erie's twitter that Terrance would be playing in the event. As far as I knew, he was an American so I assumed he'd play for USA. Apparently I was mistaken on both counts.

Colby Barlow is the Attacks 1st rd pick 2021.

He was picked 10th overall, leads the Attack with 7 goals and has been a delight to watch . He's #2 in rookie scoring league wide.

He's invited .

take a look who sits on the selection committee to tell you how 2 jrb players got selected by a certain team

Not sure where to find this or who the reference is to but I don't think anyone is shocked that they're both Knights.

In all fairness however, they are 2nd round picks and London really is the only place where you see a 2nd round pick that's signed to the team playing Jr. B. I'm not as familiar with Oliver Bonk but I can pretty confidently say that Easton Cowan would crack any other OHL roster and there would be no questions asked about him getting the call for this tournament.
