just to add, "überknöchelt" means an overbend ankle, so i guess it's most probably a high ankle sprain.

Heard it was not as bad as originally thought, but also heard it was a high ankle sprain which is typically worse than a clean break.

It's a left ankle sprain and he's questionable for the weekend. The physio said there was a chance he could play, but Myers will ultimately have to test it out on the ice (either on Tuesday or Thursday) to know for sure. [LINK]
