Bozo is more often than not the LAST guy backchecking in the D-zone dint know what people do when they watch the game

What do you expect.Bozak is usually the player on his line that is the deepest in the offensive zone.He is also the slowest skater on his line.

Bozak turns 29 in 3 weeks. Not part of the rebuild

Need to create spaces for younger places to play. 2nd/3rd line centers can't start out on the 4th or 1st line.

Kadri is still young and lots of room for improvement and is a nice player for the rebuild
Bozak though, no thanks. Unless we plan on giving our youngsters bad habitd

Kadri has room for improvement.I'm surprised to read that.

Its truth. Kadri isnt some useless 29 year old player. What is he 24-25?
He hasnt hit his prime yet. And showed a lot of improvement this season aside from I guess faceoffs
So yes he will continue to improve unless we live in a magic world that players stop growing at 24

29 is pretty old, maybe retirement time,I can see the grey hair starting.Bozak is no star either but he's good at breakaways,shootouts,face-offs and the powerplay. The same areas where Kadri needs to improve.

If Kadri floated and cherry picked like Bozak does there would be 20 threads about it. Bozak hurts his line. Our first line is a net negative, they get scored on more than they score at even strength. Not sure how they have stayed together this long.

PP points count.the top scorers in the league have close to 1/3 of their points on the PP.The line is not a negative over the past couple of years taking PP points into consideration.

Congrats to our first line for finally producing some offense against a career minor league goaltender.

Nice work boys!

And congrats to the rest of the team that couldn't even manage that.isn't it apparent that when the first line isn't scoring we don't win.

When judging a line you do it at even strength, as powerplay lines are often different than at ES (for most teams). Plus they are not together on PK, so misleading to include PP but not PK. ES is the best evaluation of line strength.

The success of special teams is of the upmost importance to a winning team.it is hard to quantify the numbers though.

Every team in the league will lose if their first line goes ice cold, all the while surrendering tons of goals.

This is a simple concept.

Agreed.i would like to see a breakdown of GA for each line during the recent collapse.(not asking you, just curious).

Nice dodging. Line judging is done at 5v5, as some play PP and not PK, so it blurs up the numbers. Not a fair assessment.

Who made that rule. The NHL.More than 25.% of goals in a game are on special teams(both teams combined). That part of the game needs to be considered.

No one saying it isn't considered. Just not when you are judging lines. How is it fair to say our first line is a positive when you include Kessels PP points while ignoring the fact he plays zero PK minutes? If he did I'm sure that would change the numbers. When you include them it slants the numbers.

Bozak can't generate any cycle without the PP, Kadri hasn't been given time on the top unit as a centre. People say bozak is a PP specialist LOL the top line only has zone time on the PP

PP specialist, because the majority of his points come on the PP (hasn't scored an even strength goal away from Kessel since 2011), not because he's a PP god.

If the Leafs can somehow offload him and get a semi-decent return (because the return won't be great) before Monday's deadline, I might need medical attention - imagine getting rid of Carlyle, Clarkson, AND Bozak within 2 months? Unbelievable.

For those thinking he should be apart of the rebuild...

He's 29.

He's never put up 50 points.

His value won't be any higher than it is now (goes down considerably more if Kessel is moved and he's eventually figured out).

Needs to be carried in a top 6 role.

Not good enough defensively to be a bottom 6 center.

..no thanks. Wish him well, and then dust your hands clean of him.
