I compiled a scoreboard for underage players in TV-pucken. All of them are born 1999. Underage performers are always interesting to keep an eye on.

Top 5 scoring underage defensemen
Algot Landin 5-2-3-5 (Medelpad)
Erik Brännström 5-0-4-4 (Småland Röd)
Filip Westerlund 5-0-3-3 (Ã…ngermanland)
Ludvig Stenvall 5-0-2-2 (Västerbotten)
Karl Markström 5-0-1-1 (Uppland)

Top 10 scoring underage forwards
Anton Johansson 5-6-2-8 (Örebro)
Isac Lundeström 5-2-6-8 (Norrbotten)
Tobias Åhström 5-5-2-7 (Ångermanland)
Fabian Zetterlund 5-5-1-6 (Värmland)
Daniel Nilsmats 5-2-2-4 (Dalarna)
David Ojamäe 5-1-3-4 (Gästrikland)
Maximilian Popovic 5-2-1-3 (Uppland)
Andre Jarlfors 5-1-2-3 (Blekinge)
Olle Lycksell 5-1-2-3 (Småland Gul)

Ångermanland got two very interesting underaged there in Filip Westerlund and Tobias Åhström. Åhström played in first PP along with Wahlgren and showed up real good hands and hockeysense. He also put up some nice numbers.(5+2 in 5) Westerlund might be the most interesting out of the two though. Smallish right-handed defenseman that reminds me so much of Sebastian Aho. His skating is his biggest strength, he can really move and he is veery mobile. Good hands, sense and passing too. Played on the point in first pp aswell. Fun player to watch. Both of them will be impact players in next years TV-pucken, for Ångermanland. Lundeström looks interesting too.

Stockholm Nord

It didnt go so well for Stockholm Nord this year. I read an intervju with the coach and he couldnt point out why... They have so many good players in the team.
this were the team carriers but they didnt came up to their maximum levels exept of the win against gothenburg. the stats for the goalie are bad but he played very well so dont listen to the stats.

First line and the goalie

Lw: Jonathan Rodensjö C : Marcus Seidl Rw :Alexander Nylander

D: Linus Nässen D: Viktor Markusson

I watched a couple of their games and one player I liked was Pontus Karlsson. He played great against Göteborg and seemed to be a natural goal scorer. Didn't see much of him against Östergötland though and he doesn't seem to have made much of a noice in the other games either. Btw it's pretty unbelievable that Stockholm nord lost 4-1 to Södermanland. Didn't watch the game so I don't know what happened.

Quarterfinals of TV-pucken on friday. Will be fun to watch, it's something else when the games are broadcasted on national television which isn't the case with the round robin games.

Östergötland-Dalarna
Ångermanland-Västergötland
Värmland-Stockholm syd
Småland röd-Västerbotten

My prediction is that Östergötland, Ångermanland, Stockholm syd and Småland röd will go to the semis. Either way it's going to be some entertaining games with a lot of talented players.

Dalarna was a little bit better than I expected. They also seemed to have done their homework. Östergötland play a possession game, especially with their D's. Dalarna put a lot of pressure on Östergötlands D's which made them loose a lot of pucks. Could well have given Dalarna the win.

Edgars Treijs wants to play for SWE

So bummed that he left LHC to play for Rögle. A "Latvian" swede that speak "ösgötska" playing in Skåne.. ;)

He said in an interview that he felt his chances to develop was better in Rögle since they play more offensive hockey and have produced many good forwards. As a LHC-supporter that does not feel good, but it is true looking at our track record developing forwards.. :( When we finally get a our own super prospects, he leaves...

I agree, very sad to see him go. I've been watching him since late 2011 and been very excited by his development. I'm not sure wether Rögle actually produce more or better forwards to senior level than LHC but on junior level they have been very succesful. I do think LHC are on the right track however but when players like Crus, Forsbacka, Bristedt and Treijs leaves in a year it's... unfortunate.

Wahlgren and Forsmark did not disappoint. They are clearly the best forwards from what I've seen.

Vrana? Once he puts it all together he'll be a lethal offensive weapon.

Yeah. We obviously have Vrana, but I don't really see him as "östgötsk" as much as Treijs.. ;) (even though Treijs wasnt born here)
