Hextall is in the driver's seat. Unless Mason wants to cut off his nose to spite his face he will be back IF Hextall wants him. Oherwise, Hextall will have his choice of Bernier, Condon, Johnson, etc.

Crazy to think there is a very good chance we are spending less $$ on goalies this year than we did last year !!!!!

Not sure who exactly but I wouldn't mind signing someone to a 1 year deal who you might be able to flip for something at the deadline. I would also try to do the same with Filppula this year and Lehtera next year if they have any value and if the Flyers are in the same place they have been in recent years (a fringe playoff team).

At 4 mill or less it will be manageable for a few teams.

I'd love stone here but there is no logical reason to bring him in. A year of Jagr would be nice to instill a work ethic in the kids, but that ship has sailed.
I'm not opposed to a short deal with Williams though.

I would love to see Williams or Patrick Sharp on the team, but only for a very manageable 2 year contract. I think they will get offered more elsewhere. I would also love to see Jagr back for 1 year at 3 mill, but I don't see that happening. I just like the guy.

I really hope Hextall stays away from any UFAs not named Weal.

We have enough fringe veterans.

I am curious to see how much Alzner gets and which team makes that horrible mistake.
